Location
Anaheim Hills is a residential community encompassing the eastern portions of the city of Anaheim, in Orange County, California. Community members often refer to their suburb as "the Hills." It spans the area just south of the 91 freeway at Imperial Highway to the peaks of the Santa Ana foothills themselves. The Anaheim Hills’ western border is the 55 freeway and on the east side the community extends to Gypsum Canyon.
Los Angeles is 40 miles northwest of Anaheim Hills. Santa Ana, the County Seat, is just 7 miles to the South. Laguna Beach and the Pacific Ocean are about 26 miles away.

Weir Canyon Regional Park forms a belt of open space along the southern edge of Anaheim Hills. Weir Canyon is one of the newest and least known of the Orange County regional parks, a small jewel in the Anaheim Hills region. The park is contiguous with many thousands of acres of land that has recently been acquired for habitat preservation by Orange County. Weir Canyon Park is open to passive recreation, primarily hiking and mountain biking. Visitors can explore rolling hills draped in sage-scrub and chaparral vegetation, badlands-style cliffs, cavernous sandstone outcrops, and oak-lined ravines.
The Anaheim Hills Golf Course is a public course known for its hilly terrain and challenging fairways. The spectacular views from the greens are some of the best in Orange County. The Anaheim Hills Golf Course also has a huge and beautiful clubhouse with all the amenities.
Anaheim is proud to have two professional sports teams call this city home. The Arrowhead Pond is an indoor arena for the NHL's Anaheim Mighty Ducks and the NLL’s Anaheim Storm. The arena seats up 17,174. Concerts are also held at Arrowhead Pond, and it can be converted into an outdoor amphitheatre, which is wonderful for summer nights.
Angel Stadium of Anaheim is a Major League Baseball stadium located in Anaheim and home to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of the American League. The stadium is often referred to by its unofficial nickname “The Big A”.

Adventure City in Anaheim is great entertainment for children of all ages. It has ten rides, a petting zoo, a birthday party station, an interactive theatre, an arcade and a 24 foot rock climbing wall.
Knott’s Berry Farm is a theme park in nearby Buena Park, California. There are loads of rides and rollercoasters. This park is divided up into different themes such as Boardwalk, Camp Snoopy, Whitewater Rapids, Ghost Town and Fiesta Village. The park has shows, museums, restaurants, and arts and crafts. Knott’s Berry Farm is an Anaheim favorite way to play.
The Discovery Science Center in nearby Santa Ana is a center for educating youngsters, assisting teachers and increasing the public’s comprehension of science, math and technology through interactive exhibits and programs. Founded by fifty German families in 1857 and incorporated on February 10, 1870, Anaheim developed into an industrial center, producing electronics, aircraft parts, and canned fruit. Its name is a blend of "Ana", after the nearby Santa Ana River, and "heim", a common Upper German place name compound originally meaning "home".
Most homeowners in Anaheim Hills belong to two different homeowners associations. The first focuses on the city's residential development, while the second maintains the landscaping and decorative street lighting that differentiate Anaheim Hills from the rest of Anaheim.
